Cyprinus rubrofuscus var. 'Kohaku'
White body with red (hi) markings — the most iconic and revered koi variety. Judged by the crispness of the red-white boundary (kiwa), the quality of the white skin (shiroji), and balanced pattern placement. Often said that koi appreciation begins and ends with Kohaku.
