With the twin spiderwood pieces I wanted to architect a valley of sorts going through the center. I didn't quite get the sense of depth fully but am still quite pleased with the almost symmetrical composition which took a lot of tries to achieve.

Went shopping for hardscape to try and source for some rocks to go with the wood I already have and found a whole bunch of them at the local fish shop. Not really anything super striking and all pretty small in size but I think they'll do nicely for some accent pieces. I've forgotten how expensive hardscape especially when they go by weight!

Dry start experimentation
Decided to try experimenting with the dry start method as I had some success with HC before. Going to use a small clump first and see if it rots before planting the rest just to make sure I'm getting the misting timing and amounts correct.
