Fighting Conch
Strombus alatus
Large sand-dwelling snail with expressive eyes on stalks and a muscular foot that lets it leap and flip. Excellent sand sifter and detritus eater. Peaceful despite the name. One per 20-30 gallons of sandbed is a good ratio.
