Engineer Goby
Pholidichthys leucotaenia
Juveniles are striking black and white striped, mimicking the appearance of venomous catfish. As adults they become mottled gray-brown and can reach 12+ inches. Prolific tunnel builders that will rearrange the entire sandbed. Best kept in groups when young; needs a large tank long-term.
