GFO / PhosGuard

Granular ferric oxide (GFO) or aluminum oxide media used to adsorb phosphates and silicates from aquarium water. Essential for controlling nuisance algae in reef tanks. Run in a media reactor or mesh bag. Replace every 4-8 weeks as the media becomes exhausted.
